Description

Here I show you how to make roasted cauliflower that is coated with aromatic indian spices. I hope you enjoy these tangy and spicy flavors!

Ingredients
  • 600 grams Cauliflower Florets (cut in medium size)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves
  • 2-3 tablespoons Oil (I use avocado oil)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Lime juice (to taste)
  • Masala Mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
    Masala Mix
  1. Masala to coat the cauliflower florets with:

    In a bowl combine turmeric powder

  2. Cumin powder

  3. Coriander powder

  4. Black pepper powder

  5. Garam masala powder

  6. Kashmiri red chilli powder (this is not very hot)

  7. Garlic powder

  8. Give it a mix

  9. Roasting Cauliflower
  10. Preheat your oven to 400F or 204C

  11. Cut cauliflower florets to medium sized pieces. Spread the florets on a tray lined with parchment paper

    If you want to blanch the cauliflower (to get rid of worms and clean the cauliflower), make sure to dab it dry before placing the florets on the tray.
  12. Coat the florets with any oil of your choice. I used avocado oil

  13. Make sure to coat the florets nicely with oil, so they brown well

  14. Season well with salt and rub it well with your fingers

  15. Spread the florets evenly on the tray and bake till golden brown (20-30 min)

  16. Sprinkle the dry masala (generous amounts), add some lime juice and coat well using a spatula.

  17. Bake for another 2-3 minutes

  18. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves (optional)
