This keto fish recipe is flavorful appetizer with aromatic smoky flavors
This fish fry is coated with a blend of spices and marinated with a herb paste made of coriander leaves, curry leaves, ginger, garlic and green chillies. It tastes delicious!
Take a big bowl. Add 2 tbsp. oil. Mix the chilli powder in the oil. This imparts a deep red color to the tandoori fish
Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, fresh lime juice, plain unsweetened yogurt, Kasuri Methi and salt to taste.
Mix well
Dab the fish fillets dry. Coat the fish with the marinade
Take some pieces of charcoal in a metal cup or on a boat shape tin foil. Heat the charcoal until it turns white hot
Place the metal bowl over the marinated fish.
Add a few drops of oil or ghee on the charcoal. Place a lid on the fish bowl as soon as the charcoal starts to smoke
Let the fish marinate for 1 hr with the spices and the smoke
Drizzle some oil on the fish
We will bake the fish. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F or 190 degrees C. Place the fish on a baking tray with a wire rack
Bake the fish for 5-7 min and then flip them. Bake them for another 5-7 min on the other side or until done
Sprinkle some chaat masala on the fish (optional) and add some fresh lime juice
