How to make Keto Paneer Scrambled Recipe

This is a simple and quick preparation with paneer. My mom taught me this and I am excited to share it with you!

Ingredients
  • 300 grams Paneer (shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 4 tablespoons Onion (chopped)
  • 3 Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 Tomato (small)
  • Coriander leaves and stems (handful)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Lime juice (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Grate the paneer. You can also crumble it (if using soft homemade paneer)

  2. Set a pan on medium heat and add oil

  3. Add cumin seeds. Once the seeds start to splutter, add onion

  4. Stir fry the onions until they turn translucent (~1 min)

  5. Add chopped tomatoes and green chillies along with some salt to taste

  6. Stir fry until the tomatoes turn mushy (~2 min)

  7. Add a handful of coriander leaves (chopped coriander stems would taste even better!)

  8. Give it a quick stir

  9. Turn down the heat and add the grated paneer

  10. Stir for ~1 min

  11. Add black pepper powder and a generous amount of lime juice

  12. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves

  13. Finish with a knob of butter (optional)
