How to make Keto Paneer Lettuce Wrap Tacos

These delicious lettuce tacos filled with a vibrant salad and toooed with yummy fried paneer! Perfect for your keto diet

Ingredients
    For the Paneer
  • 50 grams Paneer (cut in small cubes)
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • Red chilli powder (to taste)
  • Smoked paprika powder (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • For the Salad
  • 2 Romaine Hearts
  • 2 tablespoons Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Cucumber (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Onion (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • Dried oregano (to taste)
  • Lime juice (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Cut out 2 romaine hearts

  2. Making the Salad
  3. Mix tomatoes, cucumbers, onion and coriander leaves (you can also use coriander stems for more crunch and flavor)

  4. Add cumin powder, garlic powder, black pepper powder, salt and lime juice 

  5. Mix well

  6. Cooking the Paneer
  7. Cut the paneer in little cubes

  8. Add cumin powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika powder, red chilli powder, salt and 1 tsp. oil

  9. Mix well

  10. Set a pan on medium heat and add 1 tsp. of oil

     
  11. Add a tbsp. of butter

  12. When the butter melts, add the paneer pieces

  13. Fry the paneer for ~45 sec, so it turns slightly crisp outside but remains soft inside

  14. Take out the paneer pieces 

  15. Don’t discard the flavorful droppings in the pan, we will garnish the taco with it!

  16. Setting up the lettuce taco
  17. Take a romaine heart

  18. Fill with half of the salad

  19. Add half of the paneer pieces

  20. Sprinkle some red chilli flakes (if you like it hot)

  21. Garnish with the buttery flavorful drippings from the pan (in which the paneer was fried)
