How to make Keto Palak Paneer-Restaurant Style

You like restaurant style Palak paneer but cannot have it because you are on a keto diet?! Yes you can! This recipe that I am sharing with you will taste just like restaurant style Palak paneer but is Keto Palak Paneer! The keto saag paneer has a luscious green spinach gravy enriched with heavy cream and studded with cottage cheese pieces!

  1. Set a pan on low heat and add 2 tsp. of oil.

  2. Add spinach leaves and place the lid on for a minute or till the leaves wilt slightly.

  3. Give the leaves a quick stir until all the leaves wilt. Do not overcook

  4. Once the leaves have cooled down transfer into a grinder jar along with a handful of coriander leaves and green chillies to taste

  5. Grind the leaves into a smooth paste. You may need to add some water to achieve a smooth paste

  6. Set the paste aside

  7. Set the pan on low heat and add 2 tsp. of oil and ghee

  8. Once the ghee melts, add cumin seeds and 1 tbsp. of finely chopped garlic

  9. Stir fry until the garlic turns slightly golden brown

  10. Add ginger and finely chopped onions

  11. Give it a quick stir until the onion turns translucent

  12. Add a couple of tbsp. of water to stop the garlic from cooking further and add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder

  13. Stir fry the masala for 30 sec and add the spinach paste in

  14. Add salt to taste, garam masala and fenugreek leaves (crushed in between yours palms)

  15. Stir everything and let the gravy simmer for a minute

  16. Add paneer pieces and gently give it a stir

  17. Add fresh lime juice to taste

  18. Turn off the heat and add heavy cream

  19. Mix the heavy cream into the gravy and done!
