How to make keto chutney for idli and dosa-coconut chutney

Description

This a yummy coconut chutney that is made with fresh coconut, roasted peanuts and some aromatic spices! Pairs well with dosas, idlis, and uttapam

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Coconut pieces (Fresh or Frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon Peanuts (roasted)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Green chilli
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 inch Ginger
  • 5-7 Curry leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/8 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 Dried red chilli
  • 2 teaspoons Oil (I use avocado oil)
Instructions
  1. In a grinder jar add coconut pieces, ginger, peanuts, green chilli, 2-3 curry leaves, water and salt (to taste)

  2. Grind to a coarse paste

    This taste yummy as is or continue to the next steps to make it even better!
  3. In a pan add oil, cumin seeds, and mustard seeds

  4. When the seeds start spluttering, add dried red chilli and 3-4 curry leaves

  5. Add this to the coconut chutney

  6. Stir and done!

  7. Have this with some keto idlis, keto dosas, keto upma or keto uttapam
